MATAZ se formó el año 2004, grupo de corte cover, con preferencia de ROCK POP..... Inicialmente conformado por Javier, Henrry, Jose Carlos invitaron a Julio Garrido a ser parte de su grupo ya que compartían la misma afición por música cover de las mismas bandas cómo por ejemplo - Soda Stereo- Lucybell..... Con el tiempo, amigos como Gary, David, Javier Castañeda(bajista en pause, a voluntad suya), Duff y Gerardo Rodriguez(Maravunta), estubieron acompañando a Mataz..... Doppler Producciones, Creó el Generic Conxert, Unión de Bandas Trujillanas: http://genericconxert.blogspot.com/ , en el cual MATAZ participó y seguirá haciéndolo, ha sido unos de los más "power" y satisfactorios eventos hechos en Trujillo..... Actualmente, MATAZ está reiniciando sus covers con Soda Stereo(apoyo de Alejandro Lombardi) - Cerati - Depeche Mode..... Prontamente en tocadas locales - Perú-La Libertad - Trujillo .... .. ...... .. -
