MAUSOLEUM RECORDS label was founded in 1982 by ALFIE FALCKENBACH, and has been a leading purveyor of quality heavy metal music for over twenty-five years now. During the course of its existence the legendary imprint has harboured classic metal bands such as WARLOCK [DORO], KILLER, OSTROGOTH, FAITHFUL BREATH, WITCHFYNDE, NAZARETH, ANVIL, BELLADONNA, VOIVOD, GREAT WHITE and L.A. GUNS, to name but a dozen. Today the artist roster of MAUSOLEUM consists of established heavy metal acts in addition to exciting new artists on the cutting edge of the genre. In recent years the label issued albums by JACK FROST, OMEN, WARNING SF (with JON TORRES and AARON JELLUM of LAAZ ROCKIT), SWARM (featuring three members of DEATH ANGEL) and TECHNOCRACY (with guitarist PHIL DEMMEL of MACHINE HEAD), HIRAX, and IMAGIKA. MAUSOLEUM is also proud to embrace inspiring neophytes from the four corners of the world, such as CUSTARD, (Germany), DOUBLE DIAMOND (Belgium), HYADES (Italy), ELECTRIC EARTH (Sweden), and LEGEN BELTZA (Spain). More recently, during the second half of 2007 MAUSOLEUM released new albums by such artists as KYRBGRINDER (featuring JOHANNE JAMES of prog-metal giants THRESHOLD), RISE TO ADDICTION (featuring members of BLAZE [IRON MAIDEN] ), GODIVA (featuring FERNANDO FERNANDEZ, previously with VICTORY, and last but not least: KILLING MACHINE, a band consisting of JAMES RIVERA (SEVEN WITCHES/ VICIOUS RUMORS/ HELSTAR) on vocals, PETER SCHEITHAUER on guitar, JUAN GARCIA (AGENT STEEL) on guitar, DAVE ELLEFSON (MEGADETH) on bass, and JIMMY De GRASSO (MEGADETH/ WHITE LION) on drums. Early 2008 MAUSOLEUM will issue CARNIVAL OF LIES the new OBSESSION album featuring MIKE VESCERA, previously vocalist extraordinaire with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, the third S.I.N. (a.k.a. SOMEWHEE INTO NOWHERE) album, entitled: THE THIRTEENTH APOSTLE, as well as “FREAK BUSINESS” by German Thrashers RUNAMOK. Last but not least we’ll also unleash the debut effort by TANK BUSTER JACK, who sound like AC/DC at their most electrifying with some MÖTLEY CRÜE / GUNS & ROSES Strip Sleaze style influences thrown in for good measure. TBJ sound like the best of AC/DC with some Mötley Crüe / Guns & Roses Sunset-Strip-Sleaze style influences thrown in for good measure. Produced by Herman Frank (of Accept and Victory fame), who also produced/ engineered Saxon, Rose Tattoo, and Molly Hatchet. US release is scheduled for February 2008. Razorblade sharp riffs, screaming guitars, pounding drums and crystal clear high-pitched vocals are the main ingredients of DESTRUCTION, the album which will confirm GODIVA’s position at the top of the metal scene..
