Megadriel is a band of Gothic/Rock/Metal that since 2006 have infected the scene with their their unique style that derives from European goth metal movement, the american Rock & Roll and the versatile sound from the japanese visual-kei bands. The "infection" is so intense that the band has managed to be interviewed by Spider’s Web Magazine (UK), Down Island Magazine (PR & Caribbean), Canal 30 (Puerto Rico), Insomnio Magazine (PR) Heavy Metal Thunder (PR), Subexistence Music Production (Greece), Bandas de Garaje (NY), between others. By December of 2008 the band won a merit for being in the top 10 bands in a contest hosted by Ourstage.com and by November of 2009 Megadriel achieved a 90.97 (0-100) buzz factor at FAMECAST.COM. After launching their first independent album, "Wounds & Lust", Megadriel managed to position itself between the top 10 bands in the metal genre worldwide in the REVERBNATION charts for three consecutive months this year. In February 2010 the band launched their first music video for the song "Sweet Poison" which managed to get more than 3000 views in the first week of streaming through Youtube.
