1st Mondays: Sugar Shack Burlesque

Sugar Shack Burlesque, Art Exhibition & Heartbeats Danceparty!
7PM DOORS/ART EXHIBITION
Featuring Corwin Green's "Boot Scuffed" takes a voyeuristic look at man at play- unposed & straightfoward. A focus on fetish culture, a candid photographic take on engagements, fleeting encounters and their dark spaces.
8PM DIRTY TALES,
A theatrical exploration of Gay S&M
presented by Exposed Brick Theatre.

9:30PM ARTIST RECEPTION

10PM SUGAR SHACK BURLESQUE
Featuring NYC favorite burlesque beauties Calamity Chang, Rosebelle Selavy, Darlinda Just Darlinda, and RunAround Sue and hosted by legendary sideshow magician Albert Cadabra from Ripley's Believe It or Not. Watch us shimmy and shake in Williamsburg's favorite burlesque house.

12AM HEARTBEATS DANCEPARTY
Live performances by Maluca Mala plus DJ's Cato aka Cogri and Sean Marquand (Phenomenal Handclap Band/Brazilian Beat Brooklyn). Proceeds benefit The Lower East Side Girls Club and the Haiti Earthquake victims (Konbit Pou Ayiti and Doctors without Borders)


2nd Mondays: Calamity Chang Presents "Dim Sum Burlesque"
For one night only, the popular West Village show comes to Brooklyn bringing its top-notch burlesque beauties the show is known for AND the delicious food from Chow Bar for your consumption on this fortuitous Monday night! This is a one-Night Stand You Won't Forget.

For Hungry Eyes: Titillating burlesque performances by Dame Cuchifrita, Gigi Lafemme, Lil' Steph, Calamity Chang & Sultry vocals by Guest Star Broadway Brassy!

For Hungry Mouths: Affordable dim sum takeout available $5 Veggie and $7 Meat option. Food provided by Chef Peter Klein, Chow Bar.

3rd Mondays: *POP* - A Vaudeville / Experience!
POP* is outré, big-tent, mind blowing, jaw dropping, burlesque. It’s modern re-imagining of the traditional vaudeville show with break dancers, cabaret singers, comedians, musicians, variety acts, and of course, stripteasers with a post-modernist axe to bump & grind.

Named for curator and Burlesque artist The Incredible, Edible, Akynos' unique ability to “pop off “ pasties during her act regardless of the application of industrial strength spirit gum, *POP* is a high energy evening of sexy crowd pleasing acts.

Enjoy *POP* on the third Monday of every month at the Public Assembly. The inaugural show is Feburary 15th, 2010, just in time to keep your Valentine’s Day rolling with a theme of love, sex, and magic. Night begins with a live band to warm up the crowd for a steamy evening that goes on until every single member of the audience has been titillated. *POP* is burlesque.
