テレビ東京系「ASAYAN」でのオーディション企画、「シャ乱Qロックヴォーカリストオーディション」に落選した5人が、インディーズのCDシングル「愛の種」を5日間で5万枚売り切ることを条件にメジャーデビューを果たす。グループ名の由来は「いろいろついてくる、盛り沢山、おトク感、親しみやすい」を表したもの。シングル「モーニングコーヒー」でメジャーデビュー。７thシングル「LOVEマシーン」で初のミリオンを記録。その後、女性グループが持つ数々の記録を更新し続けている。

The story of the band begins in the television show “Asayan” (TV Tokyo) where an audition took place to find a female vocalist for the band Sharan Q. Although they were not chosen, the five finalists are challenged with a very hard task: sell 50 000 copies of their indies single “Ai no tane” in five days. As they succeeded, their career starts. The name “Morning Musume” comes from various notions such as abundance, multitude, the feeling of a gain, intimacy. The group’s first major single is “Morning Coffee” and it is with the 7th single “Love Machine” that the band sells over a million copies, creating a new record at the same time. After that, the most famous all-girl Japanese band will create new records all the time.

Le groupe est né à dans le cadre de l’émission télévisée "Asayan" sur la chaîne TV Tokyo lors d’une audition pour trouver une chanteuse pour le groupe Sharan Q. Les cinq filles n’ayant pas été choisies au final se voient proposer un défi : vendre 50 000 exemplaires de leur single indies "Ai no tane" en cinq jours. En réussissant ce tour de force, le groupe commence alors sa carrière. Le nom "Morning Musume" vient de différentes notions comme l’abondance, la multitude, le sentiment d’être avantagé, la sensation d’ intimité. Le premier single du groupe en major est "Morning Coffee" et c’est avec le 7ème single "Love Machine" que les Morning Musume vendent pour la première fois plus d’un million d’exemplaires en créant un nouveau record par la même occasion. Depuis, le groupe féminin le plus célèbre du Japon ne cesse de battre records sur records.

“早安少女组。”最初由中泽裕子、饭田圭织、安倍夏美等成员组成，1997年9月以《爱的种子》一曲展开活动，1998年1月以单曲《早安咖啡》正式出道，至今共有25名成员轮换替更。她们以持续的改变与进化，站稳了日本女子偶像团体的首席地位！ “早安少女组。”从充满了青涩感的《早安咖啡》到使“早安少女组。”一跃成为日本国民偶像团体的经典名曲《LOVE MACHINE》和超人气单曲《Do It！Now》，从通过歌曲详细介绍当时全员的特别单曲《女子喧嚷物语》 “早安”借着不同的歌曲自在地改变她们的色彩。虽然曲风各异，但又相互融合，不可思议地展现出属于“早安”的独特风格及魅力。
