In the beginning, Synbeatz laced the tracks and they were blessed with the flow of Shatt-e and Nemisis Conive. In a few short years Mpire (then known as Mortal Miztuz) created quite a track record for themselves. Releasing 3 underground CD's and two mixtapes, they managed to create a solid fanbase in their area. They opened up for national artists such as Twista, G-Unit, Jadakiss, Ceelo and Trina. They have also received airplay on radio stations such as Toledo's 92.5 Kiss FM and 107.3 WJUC, proving that they can appeal to both the urban and commercial markets. They have also received spins on WJLB and 95.5 in Detroit, and Power 107 in Columbus. Their single "Backbone" is logging BDS and Mediabase spins as we speak. On 92.5 their first single "Hot Sh*t" was a three night champion on "The New Ones @ 9", beating such artists as Kelly Clarkson and G-Unit. They also produced a theme song for Toledos number one night show DJ (Kramer), which he still uses till this day..... Although they had marketable music and street credibility, Synbeatz struggled to get his group heard by shot callers in the industry. They worked with no budget, and had nobody to turn to for help. Dealing with posers and numerous let downs, Syn was ready to give up. Thats until he met Chief Grandz. ........ ..ORDER OUR NEW ALBUM.. HERE.. ................ Who is Chief? Twenty Seven-year-old Chief was raised in the turbulent neighborhoods of Lima Ohio (just north of Dayton, which is the 15th most dangerous city in the country). He took up rapping after one of his artists he was producing for was shot dead on the streets of Lima. Since then he has lived in Indianapolis and Detroit. His style is comparable to Scar face, Ice Cube, and 2pac. His flows are laced with the everyday struggle of making it in today's society that's full of drugs, guns, and violence. He has been there and done that, its evident in his flow. He was introduced to Synbeatz by David "Big D" Berry as a producer, but when Syn heard Chief rap, he knew he had to get him in the studio with the rest of the group. They're chemistry was excellent, and at that time the Mpire family was born. .... .......... While interning at a Toledo radio station, Synbeatz was introduced to Detroits own Young Mase. Mase had just started to get into the mixtape game and gave Syn a copy of Streetwatch volume 2. Syn was impressed with Mases voice and energy, but noticed he was lacking good production. Syn convinced Mase to host the upcoming Mpire mixtape to show Mase how good he could really sound with the right producer behind him. Synbeatz was then invited to Atlanta by German Wilson, manager for Shorty Red who produced songs for Jeezy and Gucci Mane. While meeting with German and other industry producers, Syn decided it was best for the group to branch off into solo acts while still maintaining a working relationship. Since then Synbeatz began work on their next album/mixtape, which features Chief and Shatt-e on solo projects as well as collaborations with each other and Nemisis. .... ........ On they're debut mixtape (simply entitled "Mpire"), Shatt-e and Chief showed excellent chemistry and had outstanding collaborations with Nemisis and R&B artist Shayla throughout the CD that was entirely produced and engineered by Synbeatz. Mpire went on to release 5,000 copies of the mixtape in Detroit with very good response. Mase was impressed with Mpires sound and took Synbeatz as his producer. The two then began work on Streetwatch Volume 3, which would open many doors for Mase as well as Mpire. Since then Young Mase and Synbeatz have done Mixtapes for other Detroit artists including Shonuff records own Tone Tone. Tone also was impressed with the production and actually used one of Synbeatz tracks for his own groups next mixtape. .... At the completion of their mixtape, Mpire was hurting financially. They had created everything with absolutely no budget, and getting back and forth from Detroit to Ohio was becoming difficult. To keep the vibe going, chief began working with an artist from Detroits notorious east side named Authentic. Syn was impressed with Authentics sound and began producing and recording him. Authentic officially became a member of the Mpire family and earned a spot on Mases next Mixtape, The Detroit Takeover with the banger D Anthem. Authentic has a gritty never before heard style. Born in Detroit, he began rapping at a young age to deal with the harsh realities of poverty. In his last year in high school he teamed up with rapper/producer Keyz and released an underground album called Dream 2 Reality. Currently he is working on two different albums with Keyz and Synbeatz, which demonstrates his incredible work ethic. Authentic also plans to start his own company called Upper Level Entertainment. With youth and charisma on his side, the possibilities for his career are endless..... Authentic, Chief, Shatt-e, Nemisis, and Synbeatz The Mpire has arrived. Are you ready? ........
