To reach a port we must sail, sometimes with the wind, and sometimes against it. But we must not drift or lie at anchor.  The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.  I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed.  What really matters is what you do with what you have.  No steam or gas ever drives anything until it is confined.
