    ..Since 1998 MY COLD EMBRACE from Cassel have been brawling through the underground mixing up fast, melodic Death Metal, brutal Thrash, Crust, vocalized Hardcore attitude and a proper portion of lunacy. We’ve been creating a highly individual, complex and brutal synthesis, which can hardly be categorized or pigeonholed... .. After releasing our first demo “Raggabash” in 1999, and then one year later launching our debut album “The First Day” we burst onto the music scene. This was further enhanced when “The First Day” was used in a movie soundtrack... The third record "...zur�ck aus H�lle", released in November 2002, finally dispersed a lot of underground dust:.. The Metal Heart magazine declared us demo of the month,.. Legacy magazine gave us a rating of 13 out of 15, while other magazines rated us even higher, with some declaring us “album of the month” (Bleeding, Mordor, Necroslaughter, etc.)... .. After a bunch of interviews, reviews and several radio airplays in Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, France and other countries we toured Germany together with Danish death metal heroes Withering Surface and the cult death-heads Iniquity... MY COLD EMBRACE was used in various samplers and placed two songs as "Support the Grind" competition winners on The Sixth Incubator's "Inphonoir", released through Cudgel Agency... Despite this success we still have no major label (all commercial deal offers denied!) or commercial distribution support and are 100% independent! We just cooperate with DIY labels and DIY partners to show what is possible without commercial-sellout-major structures..... The 2005 released Split-7" EP with Crustcore legend UNCURBED still marks one of our career highlights and was sold out through Power-It-Up records within a few weeks!!! We still have some EPs left...be fast.. 2nd guitar player Timo left the band in January 2006 due to private reasons (his head fell off), but was soon replaced by Marco "Reidelrock" of Shattered Dream. In December 2006 another line-up change occured: Vocalist Ernie left due to job reasons (somebody actually gave him one). For him Dennis Hirth of Downtime joined the family as new member, giving the band new directions through his various but always brutal style... Since february 2008 our CD "Hausgeist" is OUT, the reputation is really good. Lot..s of very good reviews, airplays and interviews still coming every day. Our 2009 released Split CD "Schnittmenge" with RAPTURE from Munich was a fucking BLAST , too, all that countless metal media that still support us: THANK YOU SO MUCH!
