    The story of NEVER FACE DEFEAT: Never Face Defeat was formed in 2001 by Carsten Dötsch, Ronny Zeche, Patrick Schöne and Karl Broi. Playing heavy but still very original sound with lots of different influences they have been compared to various well-known HC-acts right from the beginning, but in doing so they always kept their own characteristic style. With the intention to bring new wind into nowadays European Hardcore they hit the studio in June 2001 to record five songs for a promo-CD that should build up their reputation. Unfortunately they had to stop for nearly one year, because of a serious car accident of guitar player Karl. Everybody who thought that would bring these guys down had been proven wrong. In the end of 2002 NFD went back to their mission and join stages in whole Europe with bands like (only to name a few): Death Threat, Born From Pain, 25TaLife, Hatebreed, Madball, Backfire, Knuckledust, Inhuman, Comin Correct, L’Esprit Du Clan, Angel Crew, Blood For Blood, Shattered Realm, Cataract, Full Court Press, Copykill, Settle The Score and many, many more. All this hard work led to a record deal with Germanys well-known Label DEMONS RUN AMOK ENTERTAINMENT which released the recently recorded new songs on CD called “Remember Your Heartbeat”. At that point NFD have already been featured on a lot of different compilations and also the promo songs were released on an international HC 4 way split. Right after their release in March 2003 NFD started touring through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Germany. 2004 they’re entering stages in Holland, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland and a complete tour through Italy with their friends One Million Thought. In 2005 NFD hit the studio again to record their third album “Human Weapons”. This record was released in the beginning of 2006 and numerous shows and small tours with all kind of Hardcore-acts follow in Germany, Holland and Switzerland during this period of time. In the year 2007 NFD headlining lots of Shows in whole Europe and again a small Tour in Germany called The Storm of Apocalypse. Well in the next year NFD enter the studio in Hannover to record a new album which would be called “Changing Times”. The release party was on a festival together with Sick Of It All, Madball, Comeback Kid and Shai Hulud which makes the band very proud. 2009 was another full packed year with many shows and many new experiences and many new faces in the scene and good bands in the scene. In the end of the year and in the beginning of the next, NFD focus on writing new songs and playing festivals in Germany and Europe. In autumn they recorded album number 5 in a more comfortable time than ever done before. Set the concentration on been more real and leaving the mark on the own characteristic style of the band which never been compared to nowadays fast moving growing scene. 2011 will be a new year with a new breed of NEVER FACE DEFEAT. A set of a seven inch together with a CD including 5 brand new songs will be released again on the label which believe and hold on the band “Demons Run Amok Entertainment”!
