Thanks to everyone for coming out to our March shows. We had a fabulous time with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. This week we'll be heading back to CA for the Sonoma International Film Festival for a screening of "Coals to Newcastle: The New Mastersounds, from Leeds to New Orleans." This documentary film digs into the history of The New Mastersounds and the music scenes in Leeds and New Orleans, and then follows the band along our first trip to New Orleans. Sonoma hosts a world-class film festival and is unbelievably excited about this film. They have selected the film to be the opening film of the festival and we are honored to be the first documentary to ever hold this slot. We'll be playing a show to celebrate following the screening on 4/15 at Little Switzerland in Sonoma, CA.Tickets are FREE but you can but a $40 wristband including an open bar and dinner. Everyone is welcome.
From there we'll be heading to the east coast for our spring tour beginning on April 17 at Asheville's Earth Day a FREE Festival. Check out our website for the full tour which wraps up at the House of Blues in New Orleans for a late night show on 4/30. We've also been added to a slew of Summer festival dates. We're joining the line-ups at Rites of Spring, Summer Camp, Mountain Jam, High Sierra, All Good and Bear Creek.
