The following statement reflects the singer's view only!
"I deeply wish to thank my country mates; the majority of my country mates;
Those to the North, the Center, the South, who now feel their lives are safer, their employment granted and their pensions, all of a sudden, risen.
I deeply wish to thank these people, who were told Italy is an unsafe place where there's a rape, a robbery, a murder every minute;
While it actually became a prison-state, with X-ray cameras planted at every corner of the streets;
where as soon as you THINK of committing a crime, you're filmed and aired on TG5, with a DNA trace nailing you beyond every reasonable doubt;
Where the only ones left to go crazy and get themselves in trouble, are just some ROMs, some non-EU citizen and some lonely, middle-aged, wealthy couple (if you know what I mean).
I deeply wish to thank these riffraff, who were told they would finally have democracy back, while from 2001 to 2006 the best democracy we've had was the "Mexican slaughter" at the Genoa 2001's G8, the "ad-personam" laws and the firing of the freest and most prestigious journalists that a western democracy has ever had (Montanelli and Biagi).
I deeply wish to thank these people of shit, penniless people, dying of precarity, to whom it has been promised a stable job, right from those who invented and brought precarity on act.
I deeply wish to thank these ladies and gentleman, who have been told this and that, and as sheep, they had believed everything the six, one-man-governed, national TV channels said;
even thought truth was there, before their very eyes.
There, outside their very windows..
I wanna thank these dudes who desperately need a strong leader, without whom, they wouldn't know what to do next.
These sleepwalking automata, nephew of the rubble who hailed the Duce, sons and daughters of those pieces of shit who voted for Craxi and Andreotti for 40 years (even though this one has been declared "mafioso" by law).
I deeply wish to thank these "coglioni", if today I feel like getting back to the early 90's, all-Italian Death Metal motto "LET'S BURN OUR PASSPORTS".
Finally, thank you, for these days I'm not really in the mood for playing my guitar."
Carm.
