It all started in 2006 as a small music blog that blossomed into a webzine focusing on the rock scene around New England. Going to shows, posting flyers, and simply spreading the word of some good bands in the area. .... In the middle of 2007 Nefarious Realm Productions started to become a little more serious and started engaging more with bands by conducting interviews, reviewing albums, and booked their first show that July. While most of that content is not on online anymore, it has not been disregarded and will return to its respected future home. .... 2008 started a "make-over" session where a lot of changes were made to the website and to the company itself. It was a year full of ideas and concepts. The want to do more and have the name Nefarious Realm Productions" stand out and be known among the scene arose and with time a direction was focused upon. Nefarious Realm Productions today is now a media company dedicated to the rock, metal,hardcore scene including all the subgenres. With several websites concentrating on different aspects of the scene and by presenting rock and metal shows and offering dozens of projects to bands to generate exposure is turning NRP into a powerhouse. .... The morals that make up this company are important. We believe strongly in honestly, trust, respect and commitment. That is why the list of bands and companies that NRP collaborates with continuously grows. Our main goal is to generate exposure. The more exposure your band receives, the bigger your band gets, the more income your bands takes in. After all you don't want to work flipping burgers forever right? But more importantly, more people hearing your music and listening to your story. That is what makes fans. .... So bands, shoot us a message about an upcoming show or about a project. State Of Corrections, a Manchester, NH based original hard rock/heavy metal band, is looking to book shows. All dates considered except July2-11, June 6(playing@Worcester Palladium) and August 15-30(in studio in New York recording album).
