  • "Dollar Signs" is SoundtrackPlacer.com's "song of the day" ...also featured on WMMR Podcast

    Hey all!  Some positive notes from the past week... Thanks to Val de Val and East Hundred and all who came out for our album release show at The Note. It was a great night..

    Our song "Dollar Signs" is today's "song of the day" at www.soundtrackplacer.com and Jaxon from WMMR also picked this song to put on his "local shots podcast". Download the WMMR app if you have an iphone and check it out.

    We're getting some reviews in from the new album. Check out a few online at www.phillyrockblog.com   and  www.onefanatatime.com . We also had some positive stuff featured about us in the arts/entertainement section of the Phila. Daily News.

  • Overlook's single "Achey Arms" to be played on Radio 104.5 on Thursday, Dec. 16th at 12noon

    Hey everybody. Overlook's new single "Achey Arms" will be featured on Radio 104.5 tomorrow (december 17th) at 12noon.  Our new album, "Smoke and Mirrors" will released at The Note in West Chester on Sat. Jan 16th, and will be available on Itunes and Amazon.com the same day.  ....thought I'd pass along the good news. Have a nice holiday.

  • 04/17/09 Update: The new album, Smoke and Mirrors

    The journey is almost over . Our new album, "Smoke and Mirrors" is about to be "finished". 6 months of tracking and experimentation...and 2 years of songwriting almost finished.. We'll be spending the next week crossing our t's and dotting our i's...and off to be mixed and mastered.  Personally, it has been a very exhausting experience producing and engineering myself in the home studio for the last 6 months. If you have ever seen the movie "The People Under The Stairs"...I feel like that guy "Roach"...how fitting...i need some sun. Spring is here with new possibilities for Overlook. Looking forward to playing these songs for you and developing our live show. There's alot i could say about this album, but "it's all in there", so im excited for everyone to hear it once it's mixed.  We'll put a few tracks up in the next few weeks, and the full album will be ready in a month or so.  Come out to one or all of our upcoming gigs, and we'll give you a promo cd from the new album.
