Pallet is a free-standing recording studio space in the South Dalston area of London.
The studio can accommodate a full live band, has lots of natural light and is a great environment to record in.
The studio is equipped with 16 simultaneous channel recording through Apogee digital converters to ProTools, 16 track reel-to-reel tape machine for analogue tracking/transfer/bus mixing and 16 channel analogue mix. Customised vintage british-made mixing console with quality pre-amps and analogue EQ. Wide selection of microphones. Considered collection of fully patchable analogue rack gear and a large array of plug-ins for digital signal processing. Instruments including maple shell drum kit, guitar and bass amplifiers, wurlitzer stage piano and honky old eavestaff minipiano available.
Easy access to Dalston, Hoxton, Hackney and Islington, and good transport connections to central London. Loading is ground level on a quiet street, parking during work hours can be arranged. There is a kitchen, WC and good-sized area for relaxing.
The studio was set up by Tom in 2009. Rory of Brattwell Recordings is in-house producer and engineer. We strive for a lean no-nonsense recording experience.
