For Operation Soccer Ball To Be Successful I Need Your Help!! As everyone knows we're at war. Regardless of your stance on the war, you have to remember who suffers the most- the children. I'm very lucky to have had the opportunity to adopt a very nice soldier, who is the father of a 9 month old, and is serving in Iraq. I got my first letter from him a few days ago, and I was thrilled to find him to be a kind generous soul- I know this by the way in which he included the local children in his letter. In his letter he told me that he has re- evaluated the perspective he had of his needs after seeing how people over there are living. Both he, and the troops he is with enjoy giving soccer balls to the children they pass. He says they love them, and they cannot get them over there (Iraq). That's where we come in. I have sent 2 care packages for him and his guys and will continue to do so- but, I'd really like to get a steady stream of soccer balls shipping out on a regular basis. Unfortunately I cannot do this alone. I need your help- even if it's only 50 cents!! I will be documenting all donation amounts, withholding names, photographing the shipping of each ball that is purchased with the monies donated and with my money as well- all to be provided on the ParaChallenged Radio fan page.
