Pawnshop Roses

Philadelphia's Pawnshop Roses combine good old fashioned American jangle rock 'n' roll with the rollicking blues-rock their fans have come to expect and love. Throw in a touch of Motown and a bit of Zeppelin-esque riff rock and you're almost there. Front man Paul Keen's vocals recall the soulful influence of Otis Redding and young Steve Winwood while guitarists Kevin Bentley and Justin Monteleone provide jaw-dropping switchblade licks that leave the audience wide-eyed and raucous . Sit this on top of the solid rhythm wall of bassist Mike Walsh and the drumming of Zil and you've got yourself one of the most exciting and dynmamic live acts out on the road today.
