Born in Oklahoma City. Grown in Long Beach. Bacc In tha 405th. .... PoeticCc Tha Prophet is an Underground rapper from Oklahoma City. Born in OKC, he moved to Long Beach, CA at a young age. It was there he developed his love for Rap music and the Hip Hop culture. Upon moving to OKC in the late 90's, he realized his life would be different. He became an outcast for being different, and always felt a sense that he didn't belong. Beginning by writing poetry, he turned towards writing raps at the age of 14. By the age of 16 he recorded his first verse. Continuing to write and record over the years, he joined with Mid South Musicc in 2005 and recorded his first full length album titled "Death Before Dishonor". Shortly after the release of the album, he began doing shows in the OKC area, even going as far as Ft. Smith, AR. In 2006 he recorded his second full length album titled "Tha Bastard In Blacc". Having two children in the winter of 2006, he went on hiatus until the summer of 2008 when he released "K.O.M.B.A.T.", a collaborative effort with fellow OKC rapper Ninjaface. The album was well received locally, even landing them a spot opening for Bizzy Bone in Tulsa, OK as part of the 2 day, Oklahoma 100 show. He has continued to do shows with his Mid South Musicc counterparts throughout the years, and, on December 31st, 2009, released his first mixtape "Tha Mad Rapper". Giving it away for free online, it spread rapidly over the internet creating anticipation for the follow up album. .... "This Is Me", available March 30th, 2010, is a deeper look into the life and times of PoeticCc Tha Prophet. From the very first song on the album, he leaves no doubt that he is one of the most talented wordsmiths in the genre. He touches on every end of the spectrum from his past trials and tribulations, to his problems with women, and his frustration with mainstream Hip Hop. With tales of how his life has been marred with tragedy, betrayal, & pain, he gives you all of himself through his music. The self proclaimed 'realest rapper alive', he takes you through his journey, and walks you through every thought, good or bad.
