When the Class of 2007's graduation ceremony got underway, the students bid farewell to the campus they had known so well over the last four years. .... Some were ready to move on, having applied and been accepted to universities and community colleges in the area and abroad. Others still wanted to hold on to the high school life, along with the sights, happenings and friends they cultivated during that time. .... Graduates waited in the auditorium right before the ceremony began. .... "This is great," Erick Zoltzman, 18, said. "Just being able to walk with my friends. Just being able to say that I graduated." .... Zoltzman plans to head to Glendale City College after summer break in the fall. He did not know what he wants to do with his life, but he knew what he would miss — the friends he made and moments he cherished that made high school bearable. .... Hoover High School seniors walked across their home field as high school students for the last time on Wednesday afternoon.
When the Class of 2007's graduation ceremony got underway, the students bid farewell to the campus they had known so well over the last four years.
Some were ready to move on, having applied and been accepted to universities and community colleges in the area and abroad. Others still wanted to hold on to the high school life, along with the sights, happenings and friends they cultivated during that time.
Graduates waited in the auditorium right before the ceremony began.
"This is great," Erick Zoltzman, 18, said. "Just being able to walk with my friends. Just being able to say that I graduated."
