Being able to avoid falling into the new fad of tight pants wearing, ringtone type rap, Quest is able to make commercial tracks while staying street and gritty drawing inspiration from the likes of Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Big Pun, Fabolous and more. The ability to create commercial songs for the female fan base as well as staying true to himself and create real gritty hip hop for the street. Considering Quest tha Youngn is only 21 years old this is just the beginning for this young talented rapper/songwriter. Growing up in the crime infested and mafia/mob territories of Winter Hill, Quest quickly found himself following in his family foot steps of the crime life. In his teen years, Quest starting battling and freestyling on the block with neighborhood friends but living in a single parent household Quest would be forced to leave his hood to the 978. Quest had then found his calling in 2006 when hooking up with ST. da Squad’s own Ea$y Money and his partner, underground sensation Termanology. Under the guidance of these 2 gifted and talented MC’s, Quest tha Youngn has quickly become a rising force in the hip hop industry. Althought unsigned, Quest has still been able to lock up with hip hop heavyweights Lil Fame of M.O.P. and Sheek Louch of D-Block. With 3 singles currently out and getting recognition on such websites as XXL.com, hiphopgame.com, hiphopdx.com and more, this newcomer may be a force to be reckoned with. Quest’s official introduction to the hip hop world came in May 2010 with his album Quest for Greatness.
