To try and define, describe a person by the works that He –She has done is no easy feat. To state what my influences are would take a lifetime. I will just say that they are Many.

How many of us have experienced that feeling of frustration when trying to relate, convey a shared memory to an individual or a group of friends? There are times when we as Flesh are unable to find the right Words. Well right now as I pen these words that you read I am unsure of what I should state. The Ego takes full pride in misguiding mans true intention. All I can say is Music Is a Mission Not a Competition.

I am of the Element of Water - Spirit, Incarnate as Flesh experiencing a physical Reality in A World of Matter. Music and the Arts are InI Spiritual Food, Creation, Fulfilment, and Enlightenment. I am without limits and therefore without end. My musical appreciation is Iniversal and therefore without categorisation.

Like many others Singers and Players of instruments InI first musical awakenings come from I Family. At home music was everywhere. My parents both sang. The boyfriends of my sisters were either musicians or Sound System entrepreneurs so I guess I had no real choice. I follow in a long tradition.

As a teenager like any other youth in the UK I used to run street and go listen soundsystem big or small, local or Outanational I would go.

The I has been fortunate – lucky if you believe in the concept of luck to trod to many different countries all over the World. To All the people who have helped make this vibration possible I say Yanx n Praises in the name of the name of the Most High Tetragrammaton (Adam Kadmon).

Over the last ten years Ras Tweed has recorded and perfomed live shows with a wide variety of Artists all over the World from mainstage performances at the Big Chill Festival, UK, Coachello (,New Mexico USA) with Kruder and Dorfmeister to the JahSound Festival in 2005 where he hosted the festival and performed with the Overproof Soundsystem.

In the sphere of recording Ras Tweed has recorded in a wide variety of musical genres from the Electronic Nu Dance Hall of Al Hacca - Different Drummer out a Griesfald, Germany, to Stereotype of Vienna -Klein Records Austria, to the UK Roots productions of Mellow Vibes main Murray Man out of The West Midlands,UK and also The deadly duo that is G Corp again from the City of Birmingham (Overproof SoundSystem) 2008 will bust out with the release of "I am that I am" on the Chunky Ridim to be released mid january on Friendly Fire Music.
