...And now it was time to close out the show and that task fell into the
capable hands of RATTLEHEAD! Also from Cali I think RATTLEHEAD fell into
a hottub time machine of their own that sent them from the mid/late
80's that landed them running into the THRASHED AND DETOURED TOUR!
Actually, it must be like cheating because these men know what to play
to make you headbang, raise your fist, and scream out in the name of
Metal.
They are not Satanic, or filled with fate and extreme agression
but are morer about the drinking, and sluts, and having a good time and I
think would appeal to fans of harder rock as well as Thrash and more
traditional Metal. And again alot like HEXEN both guitarists of
RATTLEHEAD were amazing busting out fantastic leads but put their own
signature stamp on them. Vocalist Nick Baranov plays guitar and soloed
like crazy and guitarist Francis Ausley did it all, fast, melodic,
pulling out notes and making them soar and scream.
When they were done I
told Francis how fucking good he was and he said to me " Do you want a
beer?" I can't believe it, he just got done playing a badass set and he
wanted to buy me a beer?!?! It should've been the other way around! By
this time I was really drunk but he did get me a beer, some kind of ale
and this is my chance to just say thanx to Francis and the ret of
RATTLEHEAD and all the bands for a great show! And I will review
RATTLEHEADS - Tales From The Gutter cd very soon.

And saving the best for last, we are going to be touring all summer, so definitely check us out in your hometown, bring some friends to the show, and thrash out with us.
Nick checkin in here to update everyone about the happenings with all things rattle. We're gonna be going in for tracking of the new record starting next week, so you should have a little something new shortly! We will announce the single as soon as we can, and if time allows it, will aim for a music video - just a little something to keep you guys excited, cause music videos sure excite us, especially with hot topless chicks.
Also, if you havent noticed already, we will be touring this july and august with our good friends HeXeN, and Mantic Ritual, our long time pals, will be joining in the east coast leg of the tour.
