Todd Newton - so far many folks have picked him to succeed Barker since he also hosts the live action version of the show. IMHO, he can sometimes come off as fake at times.
** Marc Summers ** - like Newton, he too also hosted the Live Action version of the show. He seems more suited for more livelier shows and this is one of them!
Chuck Woolery - maybe, but since he's still doing Lingo on GSN, It won't happen yet. But who knows.
** Bob Goen ** - another good host in my books that seems like he could be a people' person host, but he's one of the few dozen hosts who's shows have been a victim of unfortunate circumstances. (Rember when his show Blackout replaced The New $25K Pyramid, only to have his same show be replaced with The $25K Pyramid?) I also thought that he should of been the one hosting Shop Til' You Drop, (instead of that fraud, fake, lame-wad stiff, Pat Finn, but they had to to give Bob the bogus S-S ripoff called Born Lucky.) and if GSN cancels That's the Question, which so far is teetering on the rocks, then he should be another candidate, plus he turns 52 next month.
Rich Fields - Well, he does have the most knowledge currently with this show. But in some cases great game show announcers don't always make good game show emcees (case in point of George Finneman, Gene Wood, come to mind). But who knows.
Dave Price - can someone clue me in as to who the hell is this guy? Don't tell me he's another Dylan Lane here?
Michael Burger - BLEECH! This guy is a washed-up has-been! He stunk up the airwaves of The Family Challenge after Ray Combs died and his performance on Match Game '98 was just terrible! So what makes them think that he'll do just as good on this show?
Richard Dawson - I respect the guy and liked him sometimes on the Feud, but seeing the way he returned in 1994, was just one sign that he was waaaaay past his prime. With all due respect. Same goes for Monty Hall, who's only 2 years younger than Bob Barker himself.
