I can’t tell you how delighted I am to have you join in, rather than be left behind. — W. Maltese, the chronicler of FLICKER: TEEN-WARRIOR SAGA (look for the print version in your local book stores later this year).

  • Scars Beneath Skin

    Hi,

Thanks for the add, great to add someone local(ish) to me!

My debut novel, 'Scars Beneath The Skin' is out now, available on Amazon and all other usual suspects.

Inspired by the author's experience in the 1996 Manchester IRA bomb, it's a dark urban story about the traumatised victim of a terrorist outrage (Karl Dresner, an East Berliner) and a fiery Italian woman, Lucia Cavallieri, who wants to turn his life around.

More info at www.ajduggan.co.uk including excerpts and a BBC radio interview.
    Cheers,

  • David Franks: Walkabout…

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this folk-carol on myspace...
    Poem 230 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
    (see my blog for details):
    CHRISTMAS SUNG SIMPLY

    As gospellers have said,
    Beneath signalling skies,
    On land dusty to tread,
    A trough in a stable
    Was the strawy first-bed
    Of a divine baby -
    The forgiving Godhead.

A season for new hope -
    There then and here now;
    The yuletide of goodwill -
    There then and here now.

    In respect of this chance,
    Beneath bright or dark skies,
Faith's the star that we glance
    Attending Christ's churches
    And trying to enhance,
    With singing and ritual,
    Our God-loving stance.

    A...
