For many are called, but few chosen.” Matthew 20:16 Big Zie was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia on October 12th 1989 to Chantel Evette Davis. Right out of the womb his family knew he was destined to be a star. As a child Big Zie always wanted to become a rapper but never quite had the resources to do so. He started seriously rapping at the young age of thirteen years old. A few short years later recording followed at the age of seventeen. Big Zie hasn’t always had supporters and or people backing his dream so at an early age he was left out to do it on his own. He started recording on other artist beats as well as instrumentals from soundclick. If you were to compare the similarities of his style you would probably put him in the category of Common, Lupe Fiasco, or Kanye West for their intelligence, down to earth lyrics and swag. He wouldn’t be considered a commercial rapper but his music has a way of making his fans bob their heads. The lyrics to all of his music speak for themselves. Not only does he want to become a great artist but he also wants to become a mogul in the industry. Many people say that the sky is the limit but for this lyrical genius he wants to go to infinite and beyond. “Shoot for the moon and if you don’t make it at least you will land among the stars.” Big Zie
