About me:

We are a friendly gig venue in the heart of the popular student area hyde park, Leeds. There's alot going on down in our cosy cellar, we promote a wide range of music having reggae bands, metal, indie, jazz, acoustic, djs etc, regularly have bands/artists from up and down the country and even abroad coming to play for us. Although only 100 capacity we have a growing reputation as a great place to play and see gigs............................................................................................................................................................ We have gigs every thur/fri/sat without fail with mid week gigs as well. On sundays we hold our 'Sunday Soup' which consists of chilled out tunes and occasional dj's followed by an acoustic/open mic jam session to round off the evening.................................................................................................................................................... Outside promoters 'Shut up + Listen' also hold monthly acoustic showcase nights which have proven very popular and are usually held in the first weekend of every month, you can reach them by emailing shutupandlisten@outgun.com, think they might have a myspace aswell but not sure of the url........................................................................................................................................................................... We also do room bookings. For £85 we give you the room, full Pa, mics, stands, leads, desk and a hard working friendly soundman for the night (everthing you need except musicians!) Then you get to staff the door and keep all the money you take.
