  • Bio

........ Rubycon are a post punk/garage rock revival/dance punk/alternative indie band from Canberra. The three brothers Sam, Max and Riley have been playing together acoustically for years. A couple of years ago the non brother Reuben/Ruby joined to play bass. Rubycon like trying to blend their favourite genres together to create their own sound. Last year they won the 2008 National Campus Band Competition (NCBC). This year they started using a synth but then decided against it, but are still a little unsure. They also recorded a couple of songs and played at Corinbank and Stonefest.. .... ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..(Layout provided by ..Mike Industries...)..
