Russell James Bio Formed in 2004, The Russell James Band is a full blown assault on your senses! The band has released two records in the past five years, and is currently recording their third album for a late Spring release. The band toured from their hometown Cleveland to as far south as Nashville. RJB have made their way across the country performing at various clubs…. The Odeon, The Hard Rock Café, Flyers, Hi Fi Club, Backstreet Café, Gibson Showcase and The Outer Limits. “RJB” is the only local band to headline at the House of Blues in Cleveland! With a large and loyal fan base, the debut of their first single,”Cryings Over” reached number twenty two on the Adult Contemporary Charts and number eighty three on the Hot 100 Chart! “RJB” made an early impact as they were added to radio stations across the country, averaging hundreds of spins per week and selling CD’s distributed by Midwest Artists Distribution. Lead Singer and songwriter, Russell James had formed RJB to pursue his musical vision to a new level. The music has a hard edge and melody that no other band has attempted. Russell James searing vocals contributes to the heartfelt performances live, and heard on every RJB record.
