Sin Recursos, Pero con talento...

Llegando a los Estados Unidos desde varios paises cerca de la mitad del planeta, el quinteto de Sin Recursos fue principalmente formado como un proyecto de rock en español basico. Proyectando su cede en Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, la funcion de Alejandro Castaño (vocalista), fue en crear un ritmo nuevo y llamativo para despues incluir en el proyecto a Diego Garzon (guitarista) quien considero sus influensias del rock pesado y metal al juego de Sin Recursos. Cinco meses despues, Sin Recursos grabo su primer EP (Sin Ti EP), bajo la produccion de Loco Sounds y Eldy Treviño. La cuidad reina de la union americana les abrio las puertas a estos muchachos, quienes con su lucha y sencilles llegaron a los oidos de quienes hoy se consideran sus fans. Despues de varios cambios en la vertebra de la banda, SR le dio la bienvenida a Alex Castañeda (bajo) en el invierno del '06; asi completando su propio sonido y atrayendo cientos de personas a sus presentaciones en vivo. Haciendo crecer su nombre, no solo musicalmente pero tambien liricamente, la zona ritmica de Sin Recursos fue incrementada en mayo del 07 con la presencia de Aldo Carrillo en la guitarra. En mayo de este año la ultima pieza de SR fue añadida despues de una larga busqueda en la percuscion y bateria Recursoristica. Rich Nadelin quien con su talento y originalidad le da el toque americano y finalmente completa la solides que tanto esperaba Sin Recursos. Teniendo una trayectoria de cuatro años, Sin Recursos ah tenido la oportunidad de acompañar en el escenario a bandas como Camila, Molotov, Los Enanitos Verdes, Cafeta Cuva, Los Amigos Invisibles, Bakalao Stars, La Rua y muchos mas. Tu Sufrimiento Es Musica Para Mis Oidos es el nuevo proyecto Recursoristica el cual Sin Recursos promete ser el resultado de mucho trabajo y dedicades.

Siendo los maestros de los coros pegajosos, Sin Recursos revuelve guitarras atonicas y ritmos llamativos a sus baladas romanticas. Y ni hablemos de su musica firmativa y original en canciones como, Tu Juegaz Bingo Y Yo Ajedres, y Donde Estan?.

"El fin de este proyecto es hacer lo que nosotros hemos soñado hacer desde que eramos unos niños. Queremos que nuestra musica no solo nos llene sino tambien que signifique algo para nuestra gente latina. Sin Recursos es nuestro sueño, y no vamos a parar hasta conseguir lo que queremos" -SR-

Coming from different countries in the Southern American continent, the quintet of Sin Recursos (also known as SR) was first formed as a Spanish Rock n' Roll project from Charlotte, NC. The band officially started in the summer of 2005 when Lead Singer/Guitarist, Alejandro Castaño, and worked on a series of upbeat pop-punk songs while recruiting metal-influenced Guitarist, Diego Garzon, into play. Five months after the band was formed, SR released its first 5-track EP (Sin Ti EP) under de production of Loco Sounds in search of a fan-base. Queen City, being the home of many great local talent, gave these guys a chance, who with humble hearts and a great live performence became one of this city's finest in the scene. With many line-up changes, SR welcomed current bassist Alex Castañeda in winter of '06 and finished the search of "their" own style. Facing a more mature lyrical and musical look, the rythmic setup was improved by the presence of Guitarist Aldo Carrillo. In May of this year, the last piece of the SR puzzle was added after a long search of the percussion segment of the band. Rich Nadelin, who with his originality and talent, gave the american touch and finalized the solid sound that SR wanted. After four years, Sin Recursos has had the chance of sharing the stage with mainstream Latin bands such as Camila, Enanitos Verdes, Molotov, Los Amigos Invisible, Cafeta Cuva and Bakalao Stars.

Being the masters of the Spanish sing-alongs, Sin Recursos mixes catchy hard-pounding rythms and guitar-driven solos into their up-beat romantic ballads. Not to mention the heart-stopping signature breaks in songs such as Tu Juegas Bingo Y Yo Ajedrez, and Donde Estan?

"Our purpose for this project is to do with our lives what we have wanted to do since we were little boys. We want our music not only to fullfill our desires, but to also reach the listeners in a significant way. Sin Recursos is our dream, and there is nothing that will ever stop us from achieving this goal that we have set for ourselves." -SR-
