Some of us never die, some do, like death and taxes, they bring an awful finality to that makes all attempts at escape useless. The low-fi style has guitars flying beneath the radar, so to speak, and a post hardcore energy that isn't afraid to make a statement, or at least make a difference. It is what it is, and everybody finds themselves better for it, no use in explaining what makes it special, like some sicko Pied Piper, the lead singer patrols the front of the stage for vagabonds, for lost souls that need a resting place. Some of us Never Die connect with a crowd that is waiting for something special, something like…them. ..Surface Unsigned, Round 1 .. .. Dallas Green/Alexisonfire inspired rock, their sound is one that borders on hardcore and an altogether more striking sound that is filled to the brim with emotion. As the first song shows, a solo acoustic song that shows amazing song writing ability and really gets the crowd excited for more. They have a mature sound, at least by punk rock standards, which gives the impression of a very deep sound and adds to the mystique of the guitars. A cover of Fall Out Boy's 'Sugar we're going down' ended the set on a familiar note. ..Surface Unsigned, Semi-Final ..
