We are Konsept Enterprises and we have an exciting new magazine launching in Janurary 2009 called STEREO-TYPE. It is completely independent and will be given away free. This is not a direct mail coupon book or a flimsy ad book found in your local grocery store. This is a Sports Illustrated/ Entertainment Weekly quality magazine that will be found on every college campus, music supply and music stores, newstands, strategically place city racks, as well as available for subscription. We are starting with 100,000 copies and quarterly(with the availability of reorders as supplies run out) and project becoming monthly by the third quarter and expanding circulation upwards of 1.5 to 2 million copies as we go, due to our already word of mouth buzz. Again, we are putting this magazine out free. Also, we will be doing articles on cities, art, music, movies, video games, exercise, sports, dating, etc. and feature 5 to 7 major articles as well as profiles of unsigned artists, dancers, actors, and musicians. Our goal is to shed light on issues and artists that normally float too far under the radar to be noticed. The best thing about our magazine is that it is the first of it's kind to be completely free. That's right there is no newstand price and it will be the same if not better quality print than any magazine on newstands now. The concept of the magazine is to cater to a community not only thriving in this economy but statistically are a greater portion of the population. The " Indie" movement is just the ideal to have a career, entertainment, art, and just plain life with a little substance. Let's just say Elle magazine is for a specific dempgraphic with specific numbers. We at STEREO*TYPE shatter this demographical theory. This magazine has no demographic. One of the best qualities of this magazine is it will be content driven not ad driven. We are limiting our advertisers to 40 pages and the magazine will never be less than 120 pages therefore 66% will always be content. Also, our Table of Contents will always be right there when you open the cover. There will not be 16 ads and then half of the TOC and then 4 more ads until the 2nd half. One more thing is close to half of our content will be submissions from artists and journalism students. So this is your magazine and we are excited to see where you take it.
