Valentine's Day is fast approaching and Long Beach Party Project (LBPP.net) will be hosting a special event dubbed "My Big FAT Greek Valentine's" @ George's Greek Cafe on Pine avenue (GeorgesGreekCafe.com). Come party LBPP & 562 City Life (562CityLife.com) by the fountain while you drink, dine, & dance the night away. The party starts at 6pm and goes till 11pm on February, 14th, and all ages are welcome. $30 ($25 if you register on the guest list @ LBPP.net/valentines) gets you a 6 item unlimited buffet dinner which includes: Gyro (Lamb & Beef), Pita, Spanakopites (Filo triangles stuffed with feta and spinach), Keftehes (Greek meatballs), Tomato+Feta+Olive skewers, and Humus & Tzantziki dips will be served along with 2 complimentary drink tickets good for wells, beers, and house wine. Your 2 drink tickets are also good for a drawing for a $40 George's Gift Card.

The night will also feature live music provided by local band Majic Bullet Theory (myspace.com/themajicbullettheory), a jazz, indie, funk, fusion outfit playing 2 sets at 7pm and 9pm, and live painting by local artists Daniel Quinonez (create2inspire.blogspot.com). All paintings done the night of the event will be silently auctioned off to benefit local charity Gazette Hearts for Long Beach which donates to local hospital hearth health programs.
