Music
I know...every other site you see...I love music, but I truly do - it's in my soul...it's on my mind. I'm always humming, whistling, tapping (my wife can't stand that!) along with something. I hardly ever turn on the radio anymore because I have so many songs/tunes/ideas turning over in my mind. I play bass, but I hear so much more. I hear guitar parts, and how they fit...I hear the drummers' stops and punches and try to match them or suggest other ideas...I hear horn parts and try to stay out of their way, but still fill the bottom end...I hear keyboard players and try to fill in what they can't reach...I listen to vocalists and try to play to build their part and make their job easier, whether it is a harmony vocal part or a ascending bass part.Movies

About me:
I'm OLD, but not as old as I used to be. I find that the things I enjoy require a younger body, but an older, more experienced mind. Which means, I still like doing things I did as a teenager, but now I know when to quit! I'm a husband, father, customer service technician, music teacher, bass player (for 6 or 7 bands, I lose count - it's my age), bicycle rider - oops, I'm riding a trike now...fell off my bicycle one too many times! I enjoy summers, mornings - when I can get up and things don't hurt too badly, evenings - when the sun is setting, and my cat "meow".Who I'd like to meet:
1st, I'd like to meet Annie Clements - bass player for Sugarland. I really like her bass lines and the way she presents herself on stage. If the rest of the band shows up that would be ok, too. 2nd, I'd like to meet Tal Wilkerfeld. Her bass runs just totally captivated me when I heard her with Jeff Beck. 3rd, I'd like to meet Victor Wooten, just to see 1st hand how he does some of his stuff...so I could be totally dumfounded.Details
