 Fourth Florence Tattoo Convention 2011 
 
 
The 4th , 5th  and 6th  November 2011 the Fortezza da Basso of Florence will host 300  world-renowned tattoo artists, shows and eclectic musicians who will enchant an audience of curious and urban fashions lovers in a three-day event out of the ordinary
 
Florence looks forward to the fourth edition of the Florence Tattoo Convention.
In the wake of the resounding success of previous editions, the association Firenze Indelebile will also present the best on the international scene in the world of tattoo and body piercing.

The event will take place in the large lower floor of the pavilion Spadolini and will be presented as usual by the diverse and unique company, "Huma Entertainment Show" will delight audiences with original performances and introduce the 300 artists invited to represent more than 20 countries, worth mentioning among them the U.S., Taiwan, Indonesia, China, New Zealand, Japan, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru and Australia.
 
Many will be the big names, among which are true masters of tattoo that will perform real works of art on the backs of loyal customers using traditional instruments.
It is the case to quote Colin Dale, using Inuit needle and thread for sewing the skin, Jess Yen, one of the leading exponents of the Japanese Tattoo Irezumi achieved through the Tebori technique, Volker Kloth and Arahi, representatives of the Maori practice performed by New Zealand hand poke, Hendra and  Herzane, faithful to the hand tapping learned  from the Iban of Borneo.
 
These tools will be exhibited alongside the typical equipment used in ancient times by shamans of primitive peoples.
Do not miss the exhibition session well-kept inside the event starting from the photographic reportage of the anthropologist Lars Krutak, otherwise known as Tattoo Hunter on Discovery Channel, which will illustrate the spiritual and magic meaning of tribal tattoos.
In addition, the public could admire the exhibition "Le sante peccatrici" by 31 international female tattoo artist, "State of Grace", a collection of paintings and sculptures created by artists resident in the convention, as well as the exhibition of the student’s works of the prestigious cartoon and graphic arts school Comics , and finally the project “Skins friends”, a series of puppets designed by the hand of 25 Italian tattoo artists awarded for charitable purposes.
 
 
The novelty of the year are the workshops run by Andrea Afferni and Claudio Pittan on color and black and white realism and on traditional Japanese tattoo and its symbolism.
Do not miss the shows of body modification by  Alexandre Fuser and DJ sets and concerts every evening which will be the backdrop to what already appears to be the most expected event of the season.
