Le John Wayne Supermarket rêve d'un monde parfait bercé par les refrains du Velvet, de Wreckless Eric, des Beach Boys et autre Jonathan Richman ... Sans prétentions commerciales nous enregistrons quand l'envie nous prend quelques pop tunes sur notre terrasse donnant sur la plage. De nombreux invités nous viennent en aide... Pour la basse on fait confiance à une des valeurs les plus sures de l'histoire du Rock Français tendance Velvet / Spacemen 3: JL Bassman (premier bassiste des Dum Dum Boys / Nice). Pour les guitares le choix est plus large et en fonction des chansons on retrouve Phil Ze Twang (master of the Country / Rockabilly Boogie des Rockin Daddy's from French West Indies), Jay Jay Richardson (aka Gil Mesqui, docteur en médecine chinoise et amateur de sirtaki from Pekin), Allan Robertson ( la réincarnation de Robert Johnson de Transcollective from Edinburgh/ Scotland), Franco Care (compromis inspiré entre Neil Young et l'Electro des Ravishing Ronalds from Toronto / Canada)... Le John Wayne Supermarket c'est juste de la pop bancale et bon marché, tantôt dans la langue de Romain Gary tantôt dans celle de Lou Reed...
