Hello, everyone! It's been a while since we've posted a blog, so there's quite a bit with which to catch y'all up.
First of all, we had a fantastic time at Rusty's Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier last Friday. Super-humongous thanks to everyone who made it! It was great to see so many familiar faces We're glad that we had such fabulous company kicking off Memorial Day Weekend.

We're taking a break over the next few weeks as our fearless front-man, Jay, and sassy synth-player, Erin, fly accross the Pacific to run around in the Philippines (Jay's birth country). After over three years of fun times onstage, in the rehearsal room, and in the recording studio, The MOODS are bidding adieu to our lovely pianist, Heidi. Heidi has been living in San Diego for the past six months now and has decided to pursue her own endeavors in "America's Finest City".
Our show at Rusty's Surf Shack on Friday, May 22nd will be our last with her, so make sure you come and say your goodbyes! We in the band are all sad to part ways with her, but wish her all the best. For now, we're going to enjoy our last few weeks with Heidi as we gear up for our upcoming show.
Friends and fans, words cannot even begin to describe how excited we are for this coming Friday night...
Fate has conspired to put together a night to remember! As individuals who grew up in the 8-bit era, we're pleased as punch to be sharing the stage with video game tribute band Tanuki Suit Riot. Plus, it makes us weak at the knees thinking about the return the heretofore on hiatus comedy rockers Bob Knows Best. Rounding off the night are Los Angeles rock trio Earth at Night. So join us for an evening of fantastic tunes!
