About me:

Been living the dream in Felixstowe since day 1 of my illustrious life. Can't say I've loved every minute of it, and the temptation to leave occasionally takes hold every now and again - but isn't life what you make it!? Having grown up on cheap cider and dirty wine, the backdrop for my life soon became the cheap and dirty bars and clubs of Felixstowe. Fun was had by all but the reality of it all is that it's a big world out there, and the lure of bright lights and boozy nights soon beckoned me off to pastures new. A swan song with travelling opened my eyes and ears to new delights, and the funky rythmns and beats of house welcomed me in with open arms - long nights and sore heads soon followed. Having never played an instrument but always having a passion for music Djing soon became a fun part of my life. So to did trying to give something different to Felixstowe. Funky House nights called Ours started the ball rolling, and new friends and foes were met head on. Then Boxed tried the same and for a time did well, but old habits die hard in a town like this, and the temptation of stale beers and sticky floors won the battle. But not one to give up...The live music scene in Felixstowe has always been good, and the slant on my next project was to create a night that would have a wider audience appeal and so was born The Social. A night of the finest Indie, Mod, Soul, Reggae and Ska. So far, and to date, this has been well received. And the willingness and strive to take it just that bit further has me sitting here writing this. If you have stumbled across this and you're in the area - pop along. After all its all in the name.
