Nice tribute to the great Luther Tucker!
It was on this day, June 18th, in 1993 that Luther Tucker passed on from an unexpected heart attack but his legend lives on thur his recordings and the stories we share in remembrance.
For me he was just the shy and quiet guy who lived on the other side of the back yard fence out on the Avenues who showed up on Sundays for a friendly neighborhood jam where I learned from others of his legendary status.
Tuck, in your honor today I have made the Home page on yahoo group Jack's BAY AREA BLUES CLUES a dedication to your memory.
Victor, Thanks for this page and for helping to keep Tuck alive on the net. Many will discover how important Luther's contribution to blues music was thru it and those who knew him get a chance to pause and remember the joy.
