    ..As a little girl I knew that music was going to be a big part of my life. I began singing and performing wherever I could. I would tape record my favorite songs from the radio and memorize every lyric. My favorites were Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Paula Abdul and Michael Jackson. I became intrigued by what music was truly all about and what the limits were… which I found were endless. Music was my calling, it was where I belonged and I was going to do whatever it took to make my dream a reality. Singing made me feel whole. I felt appreciated and energized in a way I had never felt before. I would take the stage at every church, karaoke contest, festival, parade and county fair that passed through my hometown. One of my main inspirations was and still is my mom. She wanted her own career in music as a solo recording artist. Watching her perform in events and contests was so amazing to see. I looked up to her for her strength and determination because she let me know that you always keep pursuing your dreams no matter what life throws at you. She is still my biggest fan and I am thankful that she instilled in me the ability to always follow my heart. With so much to say but no way to get it out, I began writing.. It was my perfect release. My pen and paper were like my best friends. They were what I trusted most when I felt I had no one else to turn to. It was hard moving to so many new cities and attending 12 different schools throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. Most of my time was spent in Chippewa Falls, WI. I moved to Durand, WI at the age of 15 where I eventually graduated from Durand High School in 2002. After performing in "Show Choir" I entered into talent shows, this put me on the positive path of knowing that my vision of becoming a professional recording artist was attainable. I began my education in cosmetology at Hastings Beauty School in Hastings, MN in 2002. I wanted to make sure that I would have a promising career aside from music. However, I never gave up hope on becoming an extremely versatile singer/songwriter/recording artist. I am writing and co-writing with some great artists, such as David Hodges. The whole industry has been a learning curve for me. I am in the midst of developing as an artist while continuing to be true to my music and myself through delivering messages that are close to my heart. I'm anxious for what is to come.
