..2010:.... ..Myspace.. seems to be ..largely obsolete.. now. I regard it as a decent archive. Nonetheless, I’ll post a few general updates here now that it is the start of a new year... -I am currently working with an ..awesome group of musicians.. putting together a set of both old and new songs. Carrying on the artistic spirit of ..Hazel-Rah,.. I am subtitling this project ..Fiver... At the writing of this, the folks involved are ..David Andrew Moore.. on drums, ..Charlie Looker.. on baritone guitar, ..Adam Minkoff.. on standard guitar, and ..myself.. on synth, voice, and horn in F. I don’t know what is happening with this group other than playing a show at ..The Stone on February 19th.. (2010). Stay tuned for more information... -I was privileged to make a major instrumental contribution to ..Kayo Dot’s new record ..Coyote.... this past summer, playing trumpet and horn. It is our hope that it will be hitting the market at some point in the earlier part of this year. It is awesome. Truly indescribable. It features a narrative lyric by the late Yuko Sueta, a human that I was lucky to know during her time here on Earth... -..Ron Anderson’s PAK is finishing up it’s new record ..Secret Curve..... Those who have gotten to preview it have freaked over it. It has certainly given me a run for my money (those keyboard parts are hard!). Our live show gets better and better, some come check up out next time we play! I am guessing that ..Secret Curve.. will be released in the late summer or early fall... -So I’ve been playing ..horn in F.. and loving it. Hire me for your recording sessions and gigs. I’m pretty good. I can’t do Ligeti yet, but I can certainly do Burt Bacharach... -Speaking of horn, I am slated to do a recording of ..a chamber piece that I wrote in 2002 called ..Glacier.... (for horn and baritone guitar) with ..Extra Life’s Charlie Looker.. sometime in the late spring.
