First off I'm boy, a modern day musketeer, an urban monk in my 22nd year of life. on the verge of everyday exploring something new about life.GOD.purpose.meaning. in search of a meaningful.genuine.real.lasting relationship with the creator.who I most the time I call father.or friend. you/some might call him god.fake.too far off. but I challenge you to take a step into my life that you may find a relevant GOD who is pursuing a intimate relationship with you. I enjoy his presence.words.touch. in my life in every aspect. searching for God in every part of it.

PEOPLE are amazing to me.they each tell a new story with there lives.all a small part in the GODstory thats been going on long before we got here. they never fail to inspire.intrigue.teach.motivate.love.hurt me. and thats why I cant separate myself from being a part of their stories. They're friends.family.peers. pastors. teammates. co-workers. that show me what & who I can be. sometimes I even find the Father through them.stories of inspiration motivate.teach me to dream and show me how to motivate my self to achieve anything I want in trying to live a life of GODworship.

MUSIC is everything my soul cries for in this lifetime. through it I find a passport to a new world of dreams. Music can show me God in a new relevant way. with the help of bands. orchestras. singers. worship teams.songs.lyrical hymns from the countless people in my life. they all effect me in a new way providing an experienced I've never felt. Apart from the music that inspires comes music from my soul and hands, I enjoy playing the guitar. piano. djembe. bass. drums and have a way of connecting with the father, with people, and the option of inspiring. entertaining. and sometimes even drawing them into a place they've never known. Not to mention I love MUTEMATH.

ART allows me to take my inspirations and inspire others. no matter what the medium: paint. pen. guitar. words. song. film. photo. art is the one thing that allows me to express my emotions of love.hate.compassion.whatever I find in my struggle to live a GODlife. Steeping my current experiences in GOD-reality.GOD-initiative. GOD-provisions. remembering to realize the beauty of this world and life that I've been given thats when art is beautiful.wonderful. calming and over all fulfilling.

LOVE that I find in Friends. I call them Pastor. Church a family in it self full with accountability.teaching. love. support. Family where I find Mom.Dad.sisters.brothers. GOD who is a love like no other.the creator and author of love it self.provides love unlike any other.even tho we seem to whore ourselves away to empty prostitutes.the things we call life.money.fun.sex.and whatever else we put before him. one word come out of his mouth. "Grace" a quote so beautiful when heard from the lips of a GOD so holy. There is no love like this. Apart from that I've Found an eternal partner, a woman who's heart is after ONETHING, who dwells in prayer, who seeks GOD with her all, who is full of life and beauty, who pursues me and embraces my love for her, who seeks to know me like she knows GOD, who is unashamed to express love whether to GOD or husband. I've found a woman who has turned her back on the illusions of the world and seeks holiness, for its this woman that I will marry. Shane I love you!

WORK is something I do week to week and sometimes who I am, but always an art in itself. I get paid for doing what I fully enjoy, working with one of my best friends, I have the opportunity to always do something creative. fun. inspiring. Professionally you can call me a lighting designer. Videographer. graphic design artist. photographer. But to me its just the same things I've always done now I just get paid for it. And I must say Pike Media Resource is one of the best companies in the world.

JUSTICE is a thing that burns in my heart because it burns in the heart of the Father but sadly its a thing that his people seem to ignore the most. Everywhere I look my eyes are open to the social injustices of our nation. world. church. But I make this vow never to alow myself to remain comfortable when people elsewhere are hurting and I will never close my eyes to the ways I can make a difference whether this is expressed in prayer. protest. speech. love. sacrifice. money. time. I will no longer look away from those who are dying. depressed. hurt. poor. oppressed. enprisioned. sick. etc. For justice is on the heart of my GOD and justice will roll down like a river.

PRAYER is everything. More than a request or petition, its become my life, its what my very being is centered around, what my soul is connected to, It's the ONETHING I desire, to sit in holy communion with the father and bridegroom receiving divine revelation as I pursue the knowledge of the holy and beauty of my GOD. Its where I'm restored and made new, its in that solitude of prayer that I'm transformed and I become one with the emotions of the creator. Its expressed in different ways: Words. dance. painting. tears. cries. drawings. song. letters. facedown. hands-up. laughs. sculpture. petition. silence. out-loud. surrender. reading. Prayer is the center, it takes the majority of my time and energy,I've become an URBAN MONK and I will continue to wait. watch. 24.7.365 until the return of heaven to earth.

Out of life I want to walk with GOD. live simply. learn to be inspired by everything in life including GOD. I want to know his emotions and understand him fully.completely along with my friends. I have a desire to escape the American dream and learn to be content with what i have and ignore what the world tells me I NEED. I want to love a woman with all of my heart.take her by the hand and write our own story upon life's canvas. I want to make my home in GOD's love.words.commandments that he would then take my hand and not only write history and paint a picture. but bring me to a continuous radical life change and captivate me intimately in his love.and use me to love others and possibly change the world.

Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that. "In a word, what I'm saying is, Grow up. You're KINGDOM subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you."
