The Impenetrable Field is from one of our improvised jam sessions from around April 2010. .... Where You Live and Burn is a segment of our live performance at Strange Maine in August of 2009. the entire live show will be featured on the upcoming bonus disc Hear We Go .... La Lumière de la Lune Noire is a work in progress, to be featured on our next album. Clearly, it was originally composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. I do expect a lot of modifications to it before it is released on an album, though, but we're not sure yet. We do things by committee and it can take a while. So keep in mind when you hear this that while the final product will contain trace elements used in ..this.. track, it will probably sound nothing like this. We evolve. .... Born out of years of slowly bubbling murky minds. What? Twilight People! Josh met Jake, and later Dan, and many other people. They all make sounds, and Josh and Dan arrange the sounds and do post-production. What sounds? Any sound is up! .... We're Discordians, so we do what we want to and we have fun, but we're dead serious about making new and challenging music. Redefining what "music" means to people, one at a time. .... So today, I didn't wake up, because I hadn't slept, and I still haven't. .... We're also generally sort of lazy people, but that's only because we are the architects of our dreams. .... I highly recommend you listen to our tracks on a set of good headphones. Our stuff is totally headphones music. .......... We didn't make this but we wish we did; or, one of our biggest influences ever: .. .. .. .. .. .. .. I totally leached a torrent of a camrip of this movie and it was f***ing amazing and you are hereby under divine order from Discordia to put it on your list of things to buy with American dollars as soon as it comes out in like two years or so on DVD and/or Blu-Ray preferably Blu-Ray if you have a huge flatscreen tv and a kickin' surround sound system.

Many and varied influences help. We love Daniel Ash, Johnny Marr, Kevin Shields, Steve Howe, Mars Volta, The Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Mr Bungle's "California", Radiohead, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Sun City Girls, Apse, and all kinda crazy stuff even crazier than that. Lots of stuff I can't even begin to say right now. .... Musique-Concrete, Noise, Sound Collage. Cubism. Things like that.
