Bio:

Andrew Marshall Alper was a singer songwriter, who basically sat around and wrote amusing and depressing songs that nobody would ever hear, often concerning mayonnaise, spiders, monkeys and love. Dean Rispler Produced a 4 song Demo that was super awesome.

Andy Alper joined the Bunnybrains as the fabulous La Persona, back when they all had fake names. Andy was required to lose any skills he had picked up in the previous years, in order to maintain Bunnybrain’s commitment to musical excellence.

La Persona's solo act was called "Andy Au Go Go" aka "A2G2"

The Bunnybrains album "The Sense of Tokyo" was originally "A2G2's" "The Sense of Paris." Essentially a Bunnybrains, Raphaella Seward, Outhere Brothers Re-mix-De-Mix Album.

Andy Alper, Eric Meyers, & Ken briefly started a rock band called "U Can Learn Guitar" to record and perform AA's endless novelty song repertoire.

Andy and Eg the Poet (lead singer and spiritual leader of the Bunnybrains) very briefly started the side project "The Dope Snugglers," which was really really good. You should hear it!

Andy and music maven Rachel Detroit started a sober/drunken 2 piece called "Kudzu." It was also really good. I mean, really really good.

Andy was obviously looking for something, some way to express all that deep groovy angst and amusement that fluttered in his head like a cannibalistic butterfly

Bunnybrains refused to travel to Miami to play Rat Bastard's Phi-Phenomenon noise fest. Andy invented the one-man-band "U Can Unlearn Guitar" in order to pose as an act, and performed 4 wonderifulous sets, to the amazement of him and others.

U Can Unlearn Guitar went on tour with COCK ESP and the Phi-phenomenon national tour, becoming known for its absolute lack of embarrassment, humor, and ability to ingratiate and/or irritate an audience. Living on improvisation and poor impulse control U Can Unlearn Guitar rarely repeated a performance, and often let the audience down with diva-esque bouts of ennui, self aggrandizing soliloquies, and sadistic episodes of both awkward silence and sundry sonic torture.

After becoming engrossed in a destructive codependent relationship, and various other dependencies, Andy took a corporate Job in Alabama and U Can Unlearn Guitar was never heard from again.

Andy left Alabama and moved to West Virginia, still to never be heard from again.
