Hi, I'm Lexie. I’m that girl that looks to the stars with hope in her eyes and wishes on every single one. I'll wrap you up and envelope your presence in my essence until I obtain the same optimism in you.

I'm really just a girl. Doing the things that I love, writing about the adventures of my heart and fumbling through life one day at a time. I believe in love, happiness, peace and equality. I believe having something to believe in makes you stronger. I love dark, mysterious hearts. I’m drawn to them for an unknown reason. I’m fascinated by truly artistic and intelligent people that aspire to great things. I hate trying to describe myself, as words don't ever really do it. I'm looking for friends and I'm always interested in learning new things.

I love small towns and being by the water. And huge cities. I'm from a city called Perth (which is also by the water), on the far west side of Australia. I love city lights, and people watching and I spend some of my time sitting on the lawn in the CBD with my iPod playing my latest obsessions.

I've been on this earth for almost nineteen years now. And I dont feel much different now to how I felt at the age of 12. I'm definitly taller. I thought I wasn't ever going to stop growing for a while there.. But then I ate something, and over night I just stopped. When i remember what it was, I I'll let you know... I plan on bottling it. I'm in love with love and the idea of the perfect fairytale ending. I'll always be a kid at heart.

Art is found in life's imperfections and experiences - good or bad. So I remind myself occasionally that this terrible moment, will make a great story some time soon. Music and art have always been my outlet. I love that my songs allow my voice to be heard.

I'm a good girl, but I never play by someone else's rules.. I don’t follow by example. Everyone is unique, celebrate it, don’t discriminate it. I live, I experience, I learn, I write and then the cycle begins again. I talk way too much about nothing at all.

I get lost in the trivial things you often only know about someone, if you know them well. I guess that's why you're reading a section that is about me, and not what I have achieved or who I have worked with. 20 questions is my favourite game. I can raise one eyebrow at a time. Sounds easy until you see me do it.. You try, and I'm left giggling like a school girl at your attempt. Right now I love the colour pink, which is concerning as I never have before. I should also mention that I am terribly indecisive. Wait, maybe I'm not.

I have ridiculous obsessions with: Photography, music, graphic design, stars, glitter, journals, nail polish, dresses, fairy lights, being too busy, over analysing and laughing until my stomach hurts - amongst other things.

I love people, I love music and I love art.
