Villainer was formed in late 2008 featuring ex-members of: Sex Positions/The Casual Lean, Civil Defense, and Mustang Cobra. With an affinity for stoner rock and 60's psychedelia, Chris McClenning, Ted Ilsley, and Paul Sousa forged their fuzzed out sound over the last two years resulting in what can be referred to simply as "Sweet Loudness." With the addition of She Rides guitarist Billy Kalalas, Villainer finalized it's lineup and has continued to hone in on it's psych meets stoner style of rock music, sparing not an eardrum along the way.
