Nei primi anni partecipano a: "Emergenza Rock" (finalisti 2003) e "Pagella Rock" (vincitori 2005). Suonano in contesti come: Extrafestival (apertura Moby), Emersione, Colonia sonora, Reset Festival, Sottodiciotto Filmfestival, aprono i concerti dei Mother of Invention e di Luca Napolitano, organizzano due tour in Salento .
Sono ospiti alle trasmissioni di RAI3: "Screensaver" (2004) e “Trebisonda” (2008). Suonano più volte come gruppo principale all’Hiroshima Mon Amour e in vari altri locali e contesti Piemontesi tra cui il Palatorino e il Palaruffini.
Nel 2006 registrano la demo "WindstorM" prodotta a CasaSonica.
Nel 2008 la band comincia a collaborare con Max Bellarosa (Fratelli Sberlicchio, Radio Deejay) per la produzione del primo disco.
Nel 2009 i WindstorM partecipano a Sanremofestival.59, la competizione on line del Festival di Sanremo, con il brano "Un sogno per me", edito dalla Uaz Records di Beppe Carruozzo (Persiana Jones), entrando a far parte dei finalisti.
Dal 2010 la band collabora con il progetto Fakemen (Radio Deejay), Alessio registra le voci di alcuni jingles e diversi brani di "Translations", in onda settimanalmente all'interno del programma 50 Songs, condotto da Dj Albertino.
Nel 2011 la band partecipa alle selezioni di San Remo Giovani 2011 avvalendosi della collaborazione artistica di Daniele Ambrosoli (Marlene Kuntz) e dell’appoggio di Fabrizio Gargarone (Hiroshima mon amour, Traffic), ma non riesce ad arrivare tra gli otto finalisti.
Da agosto 2011 la band entra a far parte del progetto MTV NewGeneration con il video della canzone “Notte bianca”.
Attualmente la band ha terminato le registrazioni del disco.

They took part in many competitions such as: Emergenza Rock " (finalist 2003) and "Pagella Rock" (winners 2005). They played in contexts such as: Extrafestival (opening Moby), Colonia sonora, Reset Festival, Emergenza, Sottodiciotto Film Festival, opening concert of the Mother of Invention and Luca Napolitano.
They played at Hiroshima Mon Amour, Palaruffini, Palatorino and in a lot of clubs placed in Piemonte.
They are guests at "Screensaver" (RAI3) and "Trebisonda" (RAI3).
In 2006 they recorded the demo "Windstorm" at Casasonica.
In 2008 the band started to work with Max Bellarosa (Fratelli sberlicchio, Radio Deejay) to record the first LP.
In 2009 Windstorm took part at Sanremofestival.59, the online competition of the “Festival di Sanremo” with the song "Un sogno per me " and became one of the finalists.
